Emma is a Clinical Psychologist with an interest in working with clients experiencing body image and self-esteem issues related to eating, dieting and attempts to lose weight.
Emma specializes in assisting clients to identify their thoughts, feelings and behaviours that contribute to long standing cycles of emotional or comfort eating, and also to develop a more functional relationship with food.
Psychological factors such as stress, low motivation, anxiety and depression can contribute to weight gain and unhealthy habits around food. By identifying the triggers or risk factors around particular behaviours, we can work to facilitate positive health and well-being changes together.
